28days until my 22nd(eww) birthday!

10 weeks until i get in amanda's car and leave scranton.

78days until i check in.

10 weeks seriously sounds much better.

My plan for actually getting my butt down to Florida has changed significantly from what it was originally. The original plan was for me and my family to drive down to Florida together, get there the 18th, the day before check in, and stay over night. They were going to stay for my sister Carissa's birthday, which is the 20th, and head home a day or two after that.

A week or two ago we found out that Carissa would be having college orientation and moving in to her dorm pretty much the same week all of my Disney stuff would be going down. SO, plan B started to form, which basically included me flying down to Florida, most likely by myself, on the 18th, and staying at Pop Century for a night. I was kind of excited to fly, and start out this little adventure of mine on my own, but at the same time, i was much more afraid to do EXACTLY that. so i planned on trying con one of my best friends into doing the trip with me.

Well one night last week, my roommates/apartment mates and i had a chat and started talking about everything we're bringing and how we're getting there, etc. it was a ton of fun! every time i talk to them i get even more excited to live with them and be there! seeriously. soo pumpedddd. But later that night during the chat, Amanda actually verry kindly asked if i would want to go with her to florida! She'll be driving down and following Jessica and her dad in their car. So, of course i said yes! haha. im so excited, i think it will be a great road trip!! and it makes it so that we both arent doing the trip alone. best idea ever, pretty much. :)

My parents had already booked a hotel room for the night of the 18th at Pop Century a few nights before this with our travel agent, so i still have that. My parents already payed her and payed for the hotel, so I'm not entirely sure if we will be cancelling the room for that night. but really, its another place for us to stay either way, so that's no biggie!! But basically, my plan is final...finally? ya know, after it evolved more than the entire human race ever has.

update!

So! 

Since the beginning of my journey through this whole College Program process, ive met SO many wonderful people, who went from acquaintances/fellow disney lovers to what i would now consider some of my best friends, as well as some of the absolute greatest friends ive ever made. That may seem all mushy and lovey-dovey, but who cares! We got each other through the beginning all the way to this point where, in less than one week, many of these same friends i have made, will be making the trip down to florida to check-in at Vista Way, and start their program.

I was saying this to someone the other day....

HOW in the world did we survive January and February and get HERE?

it seems like all we've been doing since January is waiting. Watching Evan's blog the other day, i think he said it the best way possible.. "i don't want to sit in this chair any more." That made me laugh, and nod my head to agree with him all at the same time hahaa. 

To sum it up, im just really ecstatic to meet all of these people who ive been talking to every night for the past four months.(which really, it feels like ive known you all for years.) It will be the time of your life when you get down there, and when i get down there in august, it will be the time of OUR lives. i cant wait for august so that i can delete the 'y'.

Some changes in my initial plan for Disney have taken place recently. In the beginning, along with all of my amazing new friends i mentioned above, i also met a very lovely girl named Amanda. We planned on being roommates for a little while now, and unfortunately, i recently talked to her about no longer being roommates but hopefully friends. I am never the type of person that tries to bring negativity into anyones life, or hurt. But it was just recently, i had a feeling that i could see it going much better if we were friends rather than roommates. It is for no reason other than roommate situations from the past that ive had: i had the same things in common with past roommates that amanda and i have. we would become friends based on those exact common interests, then roommates for the same reasons, and after we became roommates, we were no longer friends. I dont want that to be the case, and so i felt i should save it while i could. I really enjoy my conversations with her, and how we have found common ground in so many different areas, and im really looking forward to hanging out with her in Florida <3. 

I finished finals last thursday, may 30th. and its been summer vacation since! Im really enjoying the break from stressful classes, and sooo looking forward to my summer jobs to start. (im soo ridiculously broke right now.) With summer jobs starting soon, that also means money!! yay!

I have a ton of stuff i have to buy for florida, so i cant wait to get started on that.

The CP t-shirts arrived this past Wednesday, and ive been sorting them ever since. Ill start mailing them out tomorrow! Im trying to get shirts to the people who are leaving soon first, and it seems like that will go decently well so far.

ill probably update this again sometime this week! have a great sunday<3
